Project-based learning
Project-based learning intensifies the belief that the learner’s
process is flawless once the project is accomplished.
Learners may focus primarily on the final product rather than the
process which is key to transferring to new circumstances. Students may
feel pressure to present a polished outcome, masking the learning
struggles they encountered. Above is exactly what happened to me after
two nightmarish projects, once in high school and once in undergraduate
days.
Extraordinarian (2022) pointed out that project based learning is ‘a
good teaching method’ but still shares the caveats of any pedagogy,
i.e. the goal is designated (as projects).
